Homegrown Sustainability Solutions (HSS) is an innovative non-profit local organization that is modeling a different kind of leadership for landscape restoration. We take a holistic approach to regenerate healthy ecosystems and strengthen community self-governance. “Homegrown Sustainability solutions believe that the local communities have power, resources, skills and people to take charge of their own development. They need enabling skills and connections to realize their full potential. When communities are engaged in dialogues and equipped with relevant knowledge, they get empowered, organized and connected to offer sustainable community-led solutions on pressing challenges that affect them. We are built on three strong pillars that form the foundation of our mission: Biocultural Restoration, Regenerative Agriculture and Gender, Equity and social inclusion.
